In 2012, I pursued my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from Saurashtra University and in 2015, my master's degree in Forensic Science with Specialization in Forensic Biology and Biotechnology from NFSU. Currently pursuing my doctoral degree from NFSU, Gandhinagar Campus, Gujarat. The area of research I am presently working on is regarding development of  specific DNA markers for domestic species through RT PCR as well as methods for extracting DNA from challenged biological samples in a more efficient and faster way. Along with this I have been imparting training to various police officers regarding forensic evidence collection and crime scene management.

I graduated from St. Xavier's College, Ranchi in Biotechnology in the year 2015.Since i had a keen interest in the subject of Forensic Science i pursued my Master Degree in the same from Banaras Hindu University in the year 2017. During which I cleared my UGC NET-JRF in July 2016. At the end of the course I received 1 month training at CFSL, Hyderabad at their DNA Division. Currently, I am pursuing my PhD under the guidance of Dr. Bhargav C. Patel at National Forensic Sciences University, Gandhinagar Campus, Gujarat. My area of research is forensic DNA analysis from trace or touched samples. I am also associated with the validation study of an STR kit. I am also engaged in imparting training to various forensic experts in the field of DNA fingerprinting.

I completed my Integrated M.Sc (Life Sciences) at National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar in 2015. After working as a Research Scholar at National Centre for Biological Sciences (NCBS), Bengaluru for 2 years, I moved to genomics industry where I worked for 4 years. This exposure to genomics drove me to pursue a doctorate in genomics, for which I joined Dr. Bhargav Patel's lab at NFSU-Gandhinagar in 2021. My PhD topic is based on carrying out genetic association studies for different human facial features in the Indian populations. Based on this, I aim to develop an algorithm to predict the facial features using nuclear DNA information. To rejuvenate myself, I like to play outdoor sports and watch movies and web series.
